Job Summary


Job Responsibilities



  • Perform administrative activities in support of the Human Resources organization. May take on assignments from various areas of Human Resources, such as recruiting, compensation, benefits, employee relations, training, etc. Perform administrative or support tasks in functional area. May research and resolve employee problems and questions. May update and maintain the HRIS systems. May respond to outside queries from vendors, and companies verifying employment under the direction of HR management. May provide support to employee activities and programs.

  • Perform a variety of difficult to complex activities in support of functional areas such as production operations, engineering, or human resources for a specific project, business or a technical unit

  • Participate in the development and implementation of projects, work methods and procedures

  • Recommend changes to improve efficiency

  • Gather, collect, record, track and verify data and information from multiple sources

  • Compile, review and analyze data

  • Use software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations

  • May design processes to enhance work flow

  • Provides data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures

  • This position typically spends 70 of their time supporting the function

  • Thorough understanding of general job aspects and moderate understanding of the detailed aspects of the job

  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and 5+ years of experience
  • Must be flexible and willing to move between projects and tasks quickly and as needed
  • Must have the ability to listen to others and to work well as part of a team 
  • Must pay exceptional attention to detail, ability to manage own time effectively, produce work of the highest quality, and meet deadlines consistently
  • Must be proficient in office procedures and possess good writing and verbal skills
