Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Investigator position reports directly to the Senior Manager, Internal Investigations and is primarily responsible for conducting timely, detailed, objective, and confidential investigations of violence in the workplace, theft and fraud activity, harassment & discrimination (as needed), and other policy violations perpetrated by employees, vendors, or authorized representatives. This position ensures that all internal and external investigations are conducted in accordance with the Company’s established policies and procedures. This position shall be responsible for conducting investigations globally.

  • Leads prompt, thorough, and objective workplace investigations of complaints involving allegations of violence in the workplace, theft and fraud, harassment & discrimination (as needed), and other policy violations
  • Identifies, collects, analyzes, and preserves documentary and physical evidence related to the matters being investigated
  • Prepares timely, detailed written investigative reports for review by an Investigations Manager prior to being distributed to the Senior Manager of Internal Investigations, Legal Counsel, Human Resources, Labor Relations, and other senior leaders based on the investigative fact-finding and analysis of those facts
  • Prepares and presents investigative findings during termination appeal hearings, arbitrations, unemployment hearings and/or legal proceedings
  • Coordinates with local, state, federal law enforcement agencies assistance and/or prosecution where applicable

QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
  • Bachelors Degree (Criminal Justice/Criminology, or other related fields) or equivalent work experience in a corporate setting conducting investigations
  • 2-4 years investigative experience
  • Extensive experience conducting effective workplace investigations involving in-person or virtual interviews of employees and vendors throughout all functional areas
  • Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint
  • Strong analytical, fact-finding, and evidence-gathering skills
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain credibility within all levels of the organization
  • Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive, employment-related information
  • Ability to be flexible and exercise a sense of urgency in handling multiple cases, optimally planning, organizing, and prioritizing cases
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Ability to travel up to 20 domestically and internationally
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

  • REID Interview Technique Training or similar
  • Airline or airport experience with SHARES background
  • Understanding of SQL
  • Experience working with and the ability to partner with Legal Counsel, Human Resources, Labor Relations, etc.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to exercise sound judgment
