- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Business or Aviation or 5 years of relevant experience required
- 5+ years of major airline experience and 2+ years of management experience
- Dangerous Goods Certification (49 CFR / ICAO – IATA)
- Professional certification in Quality or Safety or relevant experience.
- Must have a proficient and working knowledge of ICAO, IATA, 14CFR, 49CFR hazardous materials regulations.
- Must have working knowledge of the Defense Transportations Regulation (DTR) and the safe transportation of regulated HAZMAT by air as well as an excellent working knowledge of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR)
- Thorough knowledge / experience of domestic and international dangerous goods regulations
- Experience in instructional design and/ or learning management systems (LMS).
Skills:
- Ability to collaborate and develop interpersonal relationships while leading a team.
- Ability to communicate effectively at a managerial level with superiors and Company Senior Management in addition to direct and indirect reports required.
- Ability to work outside standard schedule to manage 24/7 dangerous goods hotline
- Must have good computer skills and knowledge of relevant systems programs such as DG Office
- Ability to obtain valid passport for domestic and international travel as needed
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Salary Range: $91,100- $123,000
Financial offer within the stated range will be based on multiple factors to include but not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset.
