Job Description:
Provide senior leadership for the Aerojet Rocketdyne, Space Systems division Contracts organization in areas of operations and international expertise, including offsets. Position will focus tactically on helping the organization improve its cash collection while also putting in place strategic process improvements to drive greater discipline in proposal generation, change management, international contracting and linkage between contracts and subcontracts.
Essential Functions:
- Proactive, engaged and influential member of the Contracts Leadership Team.
- Gather and manage a more metrics driven organization.
- Lead Contract mod restructuring for Cash collection
- Tracking and driving down of REAs
- Strong International experience needed to drive Offsets and international contracting across the organization
- Supply chain experience to help partner and drive alignment between contracts and subcontracts
- Provide direction and guidance in establishing consistent training objectives to enhance employee competencies and skills for a best-in-class contracts organization.
- Develop strong, ongoing relationships with internal/external customers
- Provide strategic support regarding disputes (e.g., Claims/REAs).
- Oversees commercial, international and government contract development and management activities, and enforces organizational principles of integrity, accountability and compliance.
- Works closely with government stakeholders and corporate representatives for Legal, Contracts, Export, Import, Customs/Traffic, Intellectual Property and Anti-Bribery Compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
- Subject matter expertise in Government and International contracting
- 8+ years of experience with leadership in contracts management, including overseeing large, complex proposals and negotiations.
- Demonstrated experience in leading complex contracts organizations
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and the FAR, DFAR, ITAR and other government procurement regulations.
- This position will require the individual to be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain a security clearance.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $128,000 - $228,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
