We are seeking a Senior Organizational Development Consultant to support specialized talent, change, and organizational design activities with functional clients. This client-facing role is viewed as a strategic advisor to HR and the Business and will be responsible for supporting relevant OD/OE and talent initiatives in line with functional strategy.
In this role, you will be a key player in helping our enterprise functional clients navigate the complex landscape of digital transformation by optimizing their organizational structures, processes, and talent to drive successful transformations. You will work closely with the HRBPs, Corporate CoE, and will be responsible for the integration of projects with other HR processes and programs to ensure common approaches, language, and mindset.

Responsibilities:

Talent Management and Leadership Development:

• Create and implement talent strategies for assigned client organizations
• Design, coordinate and facilitate regular client talent reviews with executives
• Lead and support Talent Pools and talent development activities
• Ensure delivery of key talent programs to accelerate readiness and close developmental gaps
• Utilize data and analytics to assess talent performance, identify trends, and inform decision-making processes.

Change Management:

• Understand client’s business and design effective change strategy and plan in support of business outcomes.
• Assess and understand impacted stakeholders, creating personas and detailed change impact assessments to shape stakeholder journeys and change interventions.
• Deploy change management strategy including but not limited to written communications, stakeholder engagement, leadership alignment, training, and the management of change champion networks.
• Weave in connection to our OneLM Culture initiative to ensure culture change activities to drive desired behaviors are addressed.

Organizational Design:

• Evaluate and optimize organizational structures to enhance efficiency and align with business goals.
• Conduct organizational assessments, recommending design changes to improve agility, collaboration, and overall performance.

Consulting Mindset:

• Partner with business leaders to anticipate and address potential resistance, fostering a positive and adaptive organizational culture.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand business needs and align talent management efforts with strategic objectives.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance organizational capabilities in talent and change management.
• Stay at the forefront of future of work and best practices in organizational design, change management, and technology adoption. Share knowledge with clients and colleagues.
• Measure the impact of change and talent initiatives and organizational design changes, continuously refining strategies based on results.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education with at least 10 years of experience
• Demonstrated Organizational Effectiveness experience including leading large-scale organizational design projects and change management for large-scale projects
• Strong project management and organization skills that ensure flawless execution and to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously
• Exhibits a solutions-based focus and has the ability to sort through complexity and translate recommended solutions into easily understood options
• Ability to utilize HR systems to obtain data for analysis and reports, as appropriate and produce graphic representations of analytical data for presentations
Desired Skills:
• Masters degree in HR, Organizational Behavior, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, etc.
• Demonstrated experience leading succession planning activities including facilitating talent reviews, recommending development actions and building an understanding of key organizational talent
• Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated by the ability to establish and maintain strong networks and relationships; ability to influence without position power
• Demonstrates initiative – willing to take new tasks; is proactive in completing deliverables
• Experience delivering executive-level presentations and business cases
• Strong consultative skills exemplified by the ability to ask appropriate questions to identify unstated needs with internal clients
• Ability to utilize HR systems to obtain data for analysis and reports, as appropriate and produce graphic representations of analytical data for
• Certification in relevant areas such as Change Management, Organizational Design is advantageous.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $123,500 - $232,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $107,400 - $205,900 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
