The Senior People Solutions Manager, in this 18-month secondment backfill opportunity, plays a critical role in leading a team of 9 professionals dedicated to maintaining People team systems and delivering innovative, automated, and scalable People Technology solutions. Reporting directly to the People Services Director, this role is responsible for overseeing the Data, Systems, and Innovation & Change services within the HR function, ensuring continuity and excellence.

 

This opportunity has been created as easyJet embarks on a Workday and Payroll transformation Programme, requiring a backfill to support the BAU teams and the Programme as required.

 

What youll be doing

 

As the Senior People Solutions Manager, your primary responsibility is to ensure our people systems are operating effectively and are fit for purpose. Additionally, you are tasked with leading the advancements in People Technology by collaboratively identifying and delivering innovative, automated, scalable, and tailored solutions. This involves seamless partnership with the People Team, IT, and stakeholders across easyJet, driving innovation to ensure success. A pivotal aspect of your role also includes fostering operational efficiency and enhancing our colleagues digital experience through the strategic implementation of technology solutions.

While the leadership of the Workday & payroll transformation sits outside of this roles remit, you play a key role in ensuring the success of the program.

Data

As leaders in safeguarding data integrity and driving technological advancement, our team is devoted to maintaining high standards of quality and governance across all data processes. ·       Ensuring accurate and reliable People data to be used in insights and decision-making.

·       Leading initiatives for actionable insights and continuous improvement in data processes.

Ensuring our systems are operating effectively and are fit for purpose. Through the implementation of resilient technology solutions and the promotion of innovation initiatives, we streamline operations and foster positive change throughout the organisation. This includes:

·       Implementing and maintaining robust, scalable technology solutions.

·       Supporting the People Teams strategic objectives through effective system management.

·       Streamlining People operations to promote efficiency and a positive colleague experience.

Innovation & Change

·       Leading in the assessment of business change requirements such as statutory changes, system enhancements and implementing new pay deals

·       Driving innovation initiatives to enhance overall agility.

·       Leading and supporting the technical change management processes.

Job Requirements:

Essential Skills

>      Technical Acumen

o   In-depth knowledge of HR systems and technologies, Workday Is essential.

o   Familiarity with data governance, analytics, and reporting tools.

o   Experience in implementing and managing scalable technology solutions.

>      Analytical Skills

o   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for efficient backfill management.

o   Ability to translate data into actionable insights for strategic decision-making.

>      Communication Skills

o   Excellent verbal and written communication skills for streamlined information transfer.

o   Ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.

 

Desirable Skills

>      Airline sector and/or Retail experience

>      Experience with Workday HCM, Taleo Recruitment, Payroll

Location & Hours of Work

This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week- Hybrid- 3 days in the office
