About the role: Senior Project Manager

Acquisition Management provides daily program, analytical, and acquisition management support to senior level executives. Acquisition Management provides detail oriented management of records, business research analysis, and valuation strategies. They may also be involved in various administrative tasks.
Acquisition Management should have strong computer, finance, and analytical skills. They will often work with or lead teams.

  • Serves as the project manager for the Program Management/Admin/BFM/Cost Estimating team.  
  • Responsible for the delivery of timely, high quality and accurate deliverables.
  • Assists the Program Office in the acquisition, financial health/status management, production, and delivery of cognizant programs.  
  • Shall have a demonstrated working knowledge and understanding of the complex requirements, technical analyses, and BFM support associated with the execution of an ACAT I shipbuilding program.
  • Ensures team members are properly trained and knowledgeable in their area of responsibilities in support PMS 377, including access to relevant databases and systems.

Job Requirements:
  • Secret clearance required.
  • Degree minimum: Bachelor's Degree
  • Preferred Degree: Master's Degree
  • Preferred Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Minimum Years Experience: 15 years professional experience in the Program Management and/or Defense Acquisition field; 5 years supervisory experience.
  • Preferred Years Experience: 15 years of DoD/DoN, specifically NAVSEA shipbuilding programs, acquisition experience.
