Tasks

We are seeking YOU – a SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER – to lead the strategic planning, creation, and execution of social media campaigns for the Lufthansa Group. Youll manage posts, optimize content, and analyze performance, working with teams and partners to maximize reach and engagement. 

What you’ll do:

  • Create and manage editorial plans in coordination with our contacts.
  • Independently design and further develop social media formats.
  • Develop and implement a social media strategy aligned with the brands marketing objectives.
  • Identify trends and innovations in social media to develop new formats and campaign ideas.
  • Create and implement posting formats tailored to each target audience and platform.
  • Publish and timing of content on all relevant social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Analyze and optimize campaign performance using reports and insights.
  • Carrying out A/B tests to identify the most effective content formats and strategies.

Requirements

 What you’ll need:

  • Completed studies or training in maketing, communications or comparable qualification.
  • Several years of experience in social media design, ideally in an agency or company.
  • Experience in social media management, influencer management and content creation.
  • Confident in using design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.).
  • Creative flair, passion for design and a good eye for detail.
  • Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills and the ability to present creative ideas convincingly.
  • Experience in working with agile methods and project management tools an advantage.
  • German residency required.
