Key Responsibilities:

Sr. Manager, Digital Marketing Operations will be responsible for all Digital Marketing operations such as Digital Publishing, CMS, Personalization and Digital Marketing tools needed to implement and lead all Digital Marketing campaigns.

  • Prioritizes and coordinates quality review of all publishing work and provides guidance to Digital Publishing team to adhere to code, compliance, Standards & Governance, design, brand and accessibility standards
  • Lead a team of developers, Business Analysts, publishers, as well as lead all aspects of personalization across united.com and mobile app
  • Participate in conversations with agencies, internal partners, and vendors regularly; contribute to cross-channel planning, pivotal initiatives and share outcomes and output with leadership
  • Develop a team responsible for a variety of marketing tools such as salesforce, Bynder, CMS, Jira, etc.
  • Define product roadmap and delivery calendar from what is acceptable as a minimum viable product with ongoing improvements and refinements for various tools within digital marketing

NOTE: This is a Chicago-based, hybrid positionWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
  • Bachelors degree
  • Marketing, Business, related field
  • 7-9 years of demonstrable experience in paid media and/or creative execution, (preferably paid social and display)
  • Knowledge of digital publishing, personalization and various marketing tools
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills, data driven thinking
  • Intellectual curiosity, desire to learn, ability to take initiative and enhance products
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to organize, conceptually interpret and clearly communicate material developed collaboratively via the input of multiple parties
  • Translate complexity into actionable plans
  • Experience working with enterprise web CMS platforms is
  • Solid understanding of leading content and configurations for new functional features across lower environments UAT through to live production on site
  • Outstanding ability to co-create and work collectively with various business leaders and key collaborators
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position

  • 1+ years of travel/airline experience
  • Balanced mix of technical skills and business acumen with a customer’s first mentality on how users behave within a digital experience with proven results
  • Detailed understanding of Agile development practices and forums
