This position within the RMS Capture Excellence organization is charged with leading all training and development initiatives for the Strategy & Business Development within RMS. This role is critical to the RMS strategy to improve the skills and capability of cross-functional capture teams, to increase capture team efficiency, to raise the pWin of individual pursuits as well as to develop the bench of future S&BD and capture senior leaders.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Establish the RMS Capture Development Academy (CDA) that will be the recognized, trusted and accountable program to train, mentor and build the bench of qualified RMS capture personnel.
• Launch of the CDA in 2024 and implement a comprehensive roll-out plan in conjunction with other related RMS Capture Excellence initiatives.
• Partner with Capture Excellence leadership to create an RMS Capture Community of Practice that will promote best practice sharing across lines of business and serve as a conduit for 1LM resources and lessons learned.
• Develop competency models, skills assessments and on/off roadmaps for cross-functional capture leadership positions.
• Partner with capture leaders to assess capture team training needs and to develop individualized learning plans.
• Develop a training content expansion and deployment plan aligned with the RMS strategy, identified skill gaps and capture lesson learned. Partner with S&BD and cross-functional leadership to develop content as required.
• Coordinate with all relevant Subject Matter Experts to ensure the relevance and quality of course content and delivery. Champion NextGen training delivery tools, techniques, methods and philosophies.
• Expand the breadth and depth of relevant on-demand training available on the Just In Time Training (JITT) website and
• Implement a record-keeping system and metrics for training delivered via CDA & JITT.
• Serve as the RMS S&BD training coordination POC with corporate business development.
• As needed, direct the evaluation and oversight of contractors or vendors to develop and/or administer training programs.
• Manage the RMS S&BD Training & Development budget.
Basic Qualifications:
-Knowledge of LM best practices for capturing and sustaining business.
-Well-developed analytical, verbal and written communications skills.
-Experience developing and delivering high-quality executive level presentations.
-Demonstrated excellence in presentation skills, both live and virtual delivery.
-Bachelors Degree in a relevant field
-Demonstrated self-starter, able to anticipate needs of senior executives and complete multiple tasks in time-sensitive environments with minimal direction
Desired Skills:
-Deep understanding of the RMS Win Plan and direct experience working with RMS LOBs.
-Prior capture management and/or S&BD experience
-Experience leading high visibility, high urgency projects in a rapidly evolving work environment.
-Experience developing and implementing talent development strategies.
-Experience delivering training in a variety of formats.
-Advanced degree in relevant field.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $146,800 - $281,400 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $168,800 - $318,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
