Advanced Products & Solutions (APS) / Radio Frequency Solutions (RFS) – a product line within Raytheon - is looking for a motivated finance professional to guide the Wide Area Surveillance (WAS) team. This role will work closely with the program managers as well as cross-functional partners to facilitate financial results, while also maintaining excellent internal controls. This finance supervisor position is an integral part of the Surveillance & Tactical Radar Solutions (STaRS) finance team; helping to create a management operating system to enhance organizational performance, develop organizational capability, and meet customer & shareholder commitments.
What You Will Do
- You will be a key team member of the WAS program and will provide recommendations for various business reviews such as Estimates at Completion (EACs), Gate reviews, Program Management Reviews (PMRs), and Earned Value (EV).
- In addition, you will be responsible for the oversight of FP&A deliverables including Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Short Range Outlook (SRO), 5-year strategic long range Plan (LRP), monthly forecasts, balance sheet analysis, and the delivery of monthly EV requirements (IPMR).
- This role will work closely with the cross-functional program teams to ensure accurate and timely identification of risks and opportunities.
- Additionally, you will play an active role in developing and mentoring team members while also partnering with program teams to guide and support critical business decisions.
- You will regularly interact with program directors and senior finance leadership. Influential and effective written and verbal communication will be required skills.
- This position will help drive various program cadence and continued process improvements.
- You will need to analyze and interpret data quickly to make informed and impactful business decisions.
- The selected person must be able to interpret and ensure implementation of Raytheon financial policies and procedures to program personnel in their daily/weekly communications.
Qualification You Must Have
- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
- Minimum 5 years of related finance experience.
- Experience with SAP (BW/APEX/PRISM), PMX and Rplan.
- Excellent financial analysis experience.
- Experience providing guidance in instructing and motivating personnel toward common finance goals by setting priorities and working within deadlines.
- Experience in presenting financial concepts, trends and variances to senior leadership.
- Excellent personal computer experience including a high level of proficiency with MS Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

- Shows initiative by seeking ways to improve data analysis and processes.
- Prior experience in Defense or Aerospace.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
- Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one program area.
- Typically has broad knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.

- This position is grade M3, Senior Supervisor, Program Cost Controls.
- Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 85,000 USD - 179,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
