Description:Lockheed Martin’s JASSM Global Supply Chain team is looking for a passionate, detail-oriented problem-solver to add to its subcontract management team. As a Staff Subcontract Manager, it will be your responsibility to facilitate the procurement cycle from beginning to end. The selected candidate will serve as the primary liaison between Lockheed Martin and our suppliers, communicating customer concerns, expediting delivery schedules, and tracking engineering revisions and material needs.
Primary job responsibilities will be administrating and managing major subcontracts in various stages from proposal through execution and close out. Specific tasks include issuing Proprietary Information Agreements, generating RFP packages, analyzing and evaluating subcontractor proposals to include price analysis and coordinating cost analysis and commerciality determination, validating proposal compliance, developing negotiation strategies, negotiating price and terms & conditions including prime contract flowdowns, processing invoice approvals, and monitor subcontractor performance against contract, SOW, schedule and funding requirements. Candidate will be required to issue subcontracts and modifications and generate required documentation in accordance with established acquisition policies and procedures. Candidate will also be required to coordinate with procurement and program finance for baselining and sales forecasting activities and analyzing risks and opportunities related to the financial plans. This position requires working on site two days per week.
Basic Qualifications:
Previous professional experience leading negotiations with suppliers to ensure cost and schedule objectives are captured in contractual commitments.

Previous professional experience with the procurement and management of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment.

Knowledge of standard acquisition policies and procedures such as LMAP and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)

Demonstrated Experience with Lockheed Martin P2P, SC Nav, and SAP systems

Must be able to obtain a DOD Secret clearance (not required to start)

Must be able to travel

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
