Honeywell Building Technologies (HBT) is fast growing, highly profitable and one of Honeywells four Strategic Business Groups (SBG) with revenues of ~$5.5B.

 HBT develops and markets Connected Smart Building solutions using Industrial IOT technologies and business models that deliver compelling outcomes for commercial building owners, occupiers and managers, from reducing operating costs and improving sustainability, to increasing employee and business productivity, and enabling more efficient and effective safety and security. Your time working within the HBT team could be spent in one or more of the following ways:

  • Adjacent market analysis supporting inorganic business development (M&A Track)
  • Strategy development for an outcome-based breakthrough growth initiative (BTI Track)
  • New product business case & customer needs analysis (Offering Management track)

This internship is part of the Honeywell Business Leadership (HBL) program within HBT that offers career acceleration for select candidates. It is based in Atlanta, GA and reports to the Chief Strategy Officer, HBT. The HBT Strategy and M&A Team provides the HBT CEO with analysis of market dynamics, potential M&A opportunities, top-line growth vectors, and emerging trends (e.g. sustainability, IoT, cloud computing).

MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Currently studying for an MBA at a top tier institution
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing or operations role within a technology company, ideally software
  • Alternatively, 3+ years within a top-tier consultancy (pre-MBA)
  • Track record of successful strategy development and execution within role (pre-MBA)
  • Demonstrable role progression with at least one significant promotion (pre-MBA)
