Our Technical Operations team is full of aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain teams that help make sure they’re well taken care of and ready to get our customers to their desired destinations. The salary for this position is $124k to $154k dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the supervision and coordination of all maintenance functions on shift at the assigned location ensuring these activities are performed in a safe manner in accordance with schedule requirements and in compliance with all established company, regulatory and manufacturers procedures. Leads and assign work team and related personnel to meet company and customer requirements, goals, and objectives. Adheres to all applicable collective bargaining agreements (CBA), ensures their team has the appropriate resources available and holds them accountable for the work assigned/performed.
  • Provide leadership and direction to on shift labor workforce to improve productivity and output whilst ensuring vital resources are available
  • Build/reinforce a fair and respectful work environment through consistent application of CBA work rules and company policies
  • Complete station performance goals and objectives aligning with divisional and company goals
  • Participates in the development, planning and implementation of tactical and central initiatives striven to improve the compliance, safety and quality performance of Engine and Component shops
  • Implement and sustainment of continuous improvement activities and supervise safety and security of work group operations to ensure regulatory compliance of technical operations activities
  • Maintain a high level of communication with employee groups within the work group
  • Report status of operations, highlighting significant events to leadership whilst providing direction to assigned personnel to ensure shop and divisional objectives are achieved here

What’s needed to succeed:
  • 5+ years’ experience in CFR 14, Part 121/145 Regulations
  • 2+ years engine maintenance experience or equivalent with extensive knowledge of engine overhaul processes
  • Valid FAA A&P License
  • Extensive knowledge of engine overhaul processes
  • Excellent Communication, Leadership, and problem solving skills
  • Time and priority management
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position
What will help you propel from the pack:
  • Bachelor’s degree/Masters
  • Aviation Technology, Management, Engineering, Business or Physical Sciences
  • Strong background and technical knowledge of V2500/PW4000 or PW2000 engine overhaul and piece part repairs
