Primary Objective of the Position:

The successful applicant will provide supervision and leadership to the Cargo Planning office in order to support the safe and on-time performance the Cargojet Network.

Essential Position Functions:

  • Ensure the weight and balance of all aircrafts are completed accurately and follow up in accordance with loading procedures and compliance.
  • Provide positive customer service experience.
  • Communicate with CCC and other stations to ensure safe and on-time flight performance.
  • Oversee all manuals/publications are up-to-date and accessible to all staff.
  • Supervise office employees and ensure all required training is completed.
  • Provide leadership, motivation and direction to staff, as well as train and develop new staff.
  • Strong leadership skills and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Strong computer literacy skills.
  • Team building and proficient at communication.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • College diploma or University degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in leadership role or educational background in leadership an asset.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the air cargo industry.
  • 3-5 years of Weight & Balance experience.
  • 3-5 years of Office Administrative experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented and have good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a highly interactive work area.
