Primary Objective of the Position:
The successful applicant will provide supervision and leadership to the Cargo Planning office in order to support the safe and on-time performance the Cargojet Network.
Essential Position Functions:
- Ensure the weight and balance of all aircrafts are completed accurately and follow up in accordance with loading procedures and compliance.
- Provide positive customer service experience.
- Communicate with CCC and other stations to ensure safe and on-time flight performance.
- Oversee all manuals/publications are up-to-date and accessible to all staff.
- Supervise office employees and ensure all required training is completed.
- Provide leadership, motivation and direction to staff, as well as train and develop new staff.
- Strong leadership skills and strategic thinking abilities.
- Strong computer literacy skills.
- Team building and proficient at communication.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
Minimum Qualifications:
- College diploma or University degree preferred.
- Previous experience in leadership role or educational background in leadership an asset.
- 3-5 years of experience in the air cargo industry.
- 3-5 years of Weight & Balance experience.
- 3-5 years of Office Administrative experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be detail-oriented and have good organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a highly interactive work area.
