satisfaction and satisfy global repair turn-around standards. Supervise the workflow, staffing and
development of employees. Resolves production challenges and establishes priorities to meet customer
commitments. Oversight of Repair Station Repair Order Processing
• Develop, communicate, monitor and enforce key performance indicators to
continuously improve productivity and efficiency.
• Facilitate processing of all internal and external Repair work orders to meet
turnaround commitments to internal customers.
• Be the focal point between the Repair shop and the customer.
• Ensure Quotes are generated within the specified timeframe. • Ensure Quote approval process is adhered to.
• Process incoming/ outgoing repairs using the approved MRO database.
• Attend customer performance/ query meetings as required/requested.
• Maintain close working relationships with Repair Station Shop Supervisors in
order to effectively understand and address production issues.
• Establish and maintain a 24-hour turnaround culture for parts delivery to the
Repair Shop Floor and 24-hour turnaround on customer shipments after
completion of repair audit.
• As Customer Advocate, works to eliminate roadblocks that impact the quality
and timeliness of order processing and delivery.
• Serve as Repair Station liaison to Quality, Order Administration, BO and Supply
Chain Operations (SCO) Departments for the efficient and timely processing
and/or repair work orders.
• Maintain Administrative processes within the guidelines and regulations of the
Code of Federal Regulations and Department of Transportation. • Supervisory
• Schedule weekly shift patterns based on business needs.
• Ensure all Admin Staff are trained in RAMCO and equipped to efficiently and
productively perform their jobs.
• Has ownership of assets, annual budget planning and leading cost buster
initiatives. Develop and implement procedures to eliminate waste and promote
individual responsibility and accountability.
• Hire, train, supervise, and appraise direct reports. Supervises, plans, coordinates and monitors day-to-day work activities and operations to meet
departmental goals and objectives and customer (internal or external) commitments. Requires full
knowledge of own functional area and department processes. A portion of time is normally spent
performing individual tasks related to the unit or sub-unit, including own direct work or special nonsupervisory
assignments or projects. May serve as a back-up or fill in for absent employees, or become
actively involved, as required, to meet schedules or resolve problems.  Leadership- Supervises non-exempt and/or exempt employees. (Generally, the exempt roles supervised would
be at the entry/developing- or intermediate/experienced- level). Has direct involvement in or responsibility
for hiring, training, evaluating and disciplining direct reports. Coaches and mentors staff to promote
development and provide direction in support of achieving goals. May also review and recommend
adjustments to employee pay and/or approve travel/expenses for direct reports. Ensures adequate
staffing and scheduling to meet commitments. Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion;
coordinates work activities with others as needed. Ensures quality work and compliance with company
policies and procedures, regulatory requirements (where applicable), and any other requirements or
specifications (e.g., those from the customer). Decision Authority
Under general management, exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to
determine appropriate action. May have latitude to determine when changes are acceptable to meet
situations that were unforeseen when guidelines were established. Assignments are largely established
in accordance with schedules and deliverables. Decisions and problem-solving are guided by specific
goals and objectives, policies, and procedures; receives guidance and oversight from manager. Impact (including P&L/Budget) Decisions have a direct impact on work unit operations. Erroneous decisions or recommendations or
failure to complete assignments might cause delays in schedules and require the allocation of more
people and financial resources. Does not own P&L. May track to an individual budget line but is part of a
higher-level managers budget. Supervisors of non-exempt staff are responsible for pre-approving and
managing overtime as part of overall department expense control. Level/Type of Interactions
 Internal interactions are primarily with direct reports, internal customers, leads or other supervisors
within same or other functions, and immediate manager. External interactions (if any) are with suppliers,
vendors and/or customers. Supervisors in some areas have frequent customer interface, which may
include at management levels. Communications are generally for the purpose of providing or sharing
information, resolving problems, providing guidance or assistance, or working together to create
improvements. May conduct presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or
schedules.  The salary or hourly wage range of $60,900 – $109,700 is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. The final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives. The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.   What We’re Looking For:  • Comprehensive knowledge of Code of National Aviation (NAA) regulations and Department of
Transportation regulations to ensure regulatory compliance in Warehouse maintenance and
Shipping and Administrative processes.
• Must be expert in operational procedures and workflow to eliminate waste and promote individual
responsibility and accountability.
• Skilled at eliminating roadblocks that impact the quality and timeliness of order processing and
delivery.
• Must have strong understanding of IFE business, organization structure, processes and teams.
• Strong capability in building effective teamwork to service customer requirements.
• Good understanding of how/when to escalate issues to achieve effective and efficient action.
• Effective leadership skills to build, educate and lead teams.
• Must be well organized and able to balance multiple projects with competing priorities in a fastpaced
repair production environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in an Oracle Environment is a plus.
• Proficiency with Windows Office Suite and working with spreadsheets, databases and analysis
tools.
• Ability to plan, assign, train, and direct employees with diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to interview, hire, and appraise employees.
• Highly developed team building and problem solving skills.
• Ability to organize department objectives.
• Ability to organize material, information, and workforce in a systematic way to optimize efficiency
and minimize duplication of effort. • Advanced understanding of electronic production environment.
• Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of a
variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
• Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate
organization(s).
• Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet
schedules and goals. Minimum Relevant Experience
M1 - 5+ years of directly related, progressively responsible experience. Demonstrated leadership ability
or prior lead experience. Prior supervisory experience preferred Education/Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent internationally recognized qualification.
• Recognized technical qualification or relevant experience.
• 5 years’ experience in materials and/or production planning.
• Prior supervisory experience and/or managerial training preferred.
