Who You Are

Subcontract Management, Senior Staff

What You Will Be Doing

Youll lead multifunctional subcontract management teams and be responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk, modified Commercial Off The Shelf, performance specification and complex build-to-print subcontracts for commercial, DOD and international programs.

Youll hold procurement delegation, sign supplier agreements and purchase orders, within established authority.

Youll lead in the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms & conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services, for subcontract systems; in support of development, production and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types.

Youll prepare bid packages, conduct bidders conferences, develop evaluation criteria, analyze and evaluate proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions including price; select or recommend subcontractors, write subcontract packages, prepare awards and administer resulting subcontracts and required change activity.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related

Experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Subcontract Management or as a Buyer

Experienced with TINA Negotiations

Experience training, mentoring, and/or guiding other SCM team members

Leadership or management experience

US Citizenship is required for ITAR Compliance
Desired Skills:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college, in a related in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 15 years or more of professional experience; or 13 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree

Subcontract Management experience in Defense Industry

Formal team lead or leadership experience

Experience training procurement professionals to include: coaching, and mentoring new and emerging talent

Program Management Experience

Experience operating autonomously, driving actions and results, both internally and externally

Experience collaborating and communicating cross-functionally, building consensus and shaping/influencing opinion

Experience effectively communicating with senior leaders to include program, company, subcontractors, and customers

Adherence to policies & procedures under the guidance of the Federal Acquisition Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARs) to include familiarity with Government Procurement processes and regulations

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
