Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to support the Executive Transport Team in San Antonio, TX! This role will work with senior leaders and other functions to drive major supplier strategy, negotiations, contracting, and product deliveries.

Position Responsibilities:
- Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements
- Manages employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes and supplier diversity
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Shift: This position is for 1st shift
Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements: This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- More than 3 years of experience within Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
- More than 3 years of experience establishing relationships and maintaining strong on-going communication with customers, suppliers and/or vendors
- Experience leading a team or program.
- Experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors Degree or higher
- Experience with EVM and CAM supporting Boeing DoD contracts
- More than 3 years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations).
- More than 3 years of experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with U.S. Government Customers.
- More than 3 years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams.
- More than 3 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance.

Travel: Position may require travel up to 25 of the time
