Description:The Leadership Development Program Leader will lead the strategy, design, and implementation of the early career Sustainment Operations Leadership Readiness (SOLR) Program, and the mid-career Sustainment Leadership Program (SLP), and assist with the Military Partnership Programs. The person will also represent Sustainment Operations Services SOS on the Corporate Sustainment Council for employee development.

Duties will include onboarding, curriculum design and execution, coaching activities, Atlas Perform requirements, rotation assignments, and overall performance and viability of program components.

The person in this role will partner heavily with Sustainment Directors and Managers, as well as cross Business Area Program Managers (SLP), to ensure yearly rotations are a solid match for both the organization and the program members. The successful candidate will possess strong business acumen and establish strong relationships with Sustainment leadership to identify, understand, and address the needs of our organization throughout the program year.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
• The person in this role will be responsible for evolving the overall strategy and experience of the Sustainment Operations Leadership Development and assist with the Military Partnership Programs.
• Expectation setting and key stakeholder briefings (e.g. SOS Steering Committee, Sustainment Leadership Council, etc.), creation and management of an overarching action plan, key messaging, supplemental training and timelines, and identification/reporting on measures of success.
• Act as the primary interface between the Sustainment Operations Leadership Readiness (SOLR) and Sustainment Leadership Program (SLP) participants, act as the key coordinator for the Military Partnership Program participants and serve as the SOS employee development executive champion on the Corporate Sustainment Council.
• Promote SOLR/SLP, its goals, purpose, plans, and participation levels across Aero Sustainment
• Manage SOLR/SLP business and participant expectations
• Interface with SOLR and SLP Managers, SOLR and SLP members, and Military Partnership members regularly
• Counsel SOLR/SLP/Military Partnership participants and provide them with program-related, company, and business-specific information
• Responsible for overall SOLR/SLP program communications, participant tracking criteria fulfillment
• Manage SOLR/SLP as assigned leader to direct reports; responsible for Atlas Perform Goals and Atlas profiles and admin duties associated with Manager/leader, including coordination of annual review with function rotation leader
• Own and plan monthly SOLR/SLP meetings, and plan/solicit special topics with the larger team. Assist in the coordination of Military Partnership events.
• Own and plan with the support of the team, offsite events (annual kick-off/class graduation, special events related to SOLR/SLP/Military Partnership)
• Work with HR on recruiting initiatives, including demographic analysis pertinent to health and forward path of SOLR/SLP to align participant target expectations with SOS strategy
• Meet with program participants regularly to review progress on the program related to their program requirements
• Ensure consistency and equity in SOLR performance ratings, promotions, and salary actions
• Work with SOLR participants and others to assist with rotation and off-program placement
• Coordinate SOLR & SLP
• Engage with the SOLR/SLP Alumni community
• Provide SOLR/SLP/Military Partnership participant exposure to senior business unit management through participation in meetings and staff events
• Meet with program participants regularly to review progress on the program related to their work assignments.

The selected SOLR/SLP manager will have managerial responsibilities such as workforce planning (VEMO), employee development plans, career discussions, yearly performance objectives, performance reviews, and salary plans.
Basic Qualifications:
• Holds Bachelor’s degree, preferably in HR, Business, Communications, or related discipline

• Project management experience, ability to implement and evaluate the efficacy of programs and track the progress of initiatives

• Experience presenting to executive-level management and experience interfacing with all levels of management

• Demonstrated experience in leading employee engagement, retention, culture, and/or talent efforts

• Ability to partner across organizations and collaborate with stakeholders at multiple levels

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
