A&p Technician

As an A&P Mechanic, you will perform line maintenance on Boeing 747 and 767 aircraft, both passenger and cargo types. Your responsibilities include responding to maintenance calls, repairing and replacing interior parts, fluids, and components as needed, and signing off on airworthiness. You will work in teams of 3-4 mechanics under a lead mechanic, supporting airline operations for 747 and 767 aircraft.

Hard Skills

• 5+ years of experience on Boeing 747 or 767
• A&P license
• Ability to use a variety of tools (list provided upon request)

• Ability to work effectively in teams
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Anchorage, Alaska.

Work Environment

The role involves working in 10-hour shifts, with options of 6am-4pm, 12pm-10pm, and 9pm-7am. Most maintenance activities occur between 12pm and 4pm due to shift overlaps. New hires typically train on morning or afternoon shifts for maximum exposure to maintenance tasks. Note that all maintenance work is performed outdoors, sometimes at significant heights when addressing tail repairs.
