As a Business Analyst within our Virgin family, you’ll conduct effective business analysis services to clarify, define and evaluate business problems, opportunities and requirements for change to support the identification of solutions which deliver value to our business.

You’ll use your excellent influencing, negotiation, and communication skills to elicit, analyse, and challenge business requirements to ensure that the solutions developed are viable within the operating environment. Youll focus on delivering the anticipated benefits using a clear methodology.

You’ll also lead the analysis of the impacts on people, processes, and systems using industry-recognized services, including process modelling, data/report mapping, and impact analysis.
Build knowledge of assigned business areas and their associated functions. Processes, systems & technologies.
Clarify and evaluate business problems and opportunities.
Deliver your business analysis services with a clearly documented approach plan that is communicated to your team.
Provide insight for process improvement through people/system efficiencies using industry standard process modelling techniques.
Elicit Requirements for change from business stakeholders using a range of techniques.
Stakeholder management to ensure the requirements are aligned to all their needs.
Ensure requirements (covering functional, non-functional, data and reporting) are analysed, documented, organised, and prioritised in the appropriate format.
Work closely with Solution Architects to ensure requirements and solution scope remain aligned and focused on delivery of business benefits throughout the project/programme lifecycle.
Contributes to the identification and assessment of risks which may impact the delivery of change and the ongoing assessment of projected benefits throughout the project lifecycle
Assess the impact of the proposed solution on the organisation (people, organisation, processes, metrics & systems etc) and support business readiness.

In addition to the above, we’re looking for our successful Business Analyst to demonstrate the following:
Proven business analysis skills applied within a structured project environment
Knowledge of business analysis services. Techniques and templates
Excellent communicator with the ability to build strong and effective relationships
Experience of working to time, cost, and quality objectives.
Experience in delivering business analysis services within Prince 2 delivery methodology
Ability to work proactively both independently and within a team
Experience working with standard tools such as Azure dev ops, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Visio
