SUMMARY
The Chief Pilot for Navy Operations (CP) is a fighter pilot position required to fly in support of company Navy Air Service demands, manage, and oversee all flight operations conducted in or originating from the designated area of responsibility (AOR) to include direct customer interface support.
SCOPE
• The ATAC Chief Pilot will report to the Vice President of Navy Operations, coordinate with the Director of Flight Operations, Director of Maintenance, and Regional Directors of Operations for Navy as required. The Chief Pilot for Navy will liaison with the Chief Pilot for ACE to ensure all pilot operations are executed IAW established processes and procedures. The Chief Pilot for Navy will maintain contact with each pilot regarding both personal and professional as related to flight operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Required to contribute as an operationally active fighter pilot within ATAC
• Responsible for the oversight of all pilots supporting Navy ops and procedures within ATAC.
• Will liaison with ACE Chief pilot to ensure alignment of operations and contract compliance
• Will QA every daily flight schedule
• Maintain Navy pilot software accounts and APPS for the iPad
o ForeFlight
o XM Weather
o Jeppesen 430/530 databases
• Ensure all sites update GPS software every 28 days
• Analyze and investigate any new software or aviation aids for applicability in Navy operations
• Maintain oversight of, development of, and updates for all aircraft flight manuals and pilot checklists
• Maintain oversight of all pilot read files
• Maintain oversight of all aircraft pilot training; monthly and new/recurrent
• Maintain oversight of and changes to all standard pilot operating procedures
• Track all pilot incidents and discuss individually with each pilot
• Prepare and brief Pilot Review Board twice per year for Pilots
• Conduct all Kfir flight training
• Assist in all Hunter training as needed
• Oversee and update all functional check flight profiles and procedures
• Additional duties as assigned by the Vice President

Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years as Operational pilot in support of tactical operations
• 10 years of prior Military Fighter Experience
• 5 years prior Supervisory/Management experience
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Pilot Training Experience
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be able to foster and develop a strong team environment
• Must maintain a security clearance
• Clear written and verbal communications
• Ability to Organize and write procedures in a logical/methodical manner
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
