Description:Primary responsibilities center on driving strategic advancement of circular economy principles for the enterprise, including guiding associated internal and external goals. Towards product stewardship, this role leverages LCA techniques to assess environmental impacts associated with all the stages of a products life.

Specific responsibilities will include:
• Develop and execute an enterprise circular economy strategy, including partnering with multiple functions and industry groups.

• Serve as the primary interface for Engineering, connecting industry and customer efforts with technology domains. Seek to enhance the collaborations across this key stakeholder to advance efforts related to bio engineering and nature-based solutions.

• Lead the company’s reduction efforts related to materials, priority chemicals, and waste, coordinating with a cross-functional team to identify and implement impactful projects.

• Contribute to the company’s internal and external sustainability goal setting and reporting requirements.

• Contribute to reducing hazardous materials.

This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment where quick ramp-up and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities is expected and will produce successful performance results.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 15 years or more of professional experience; or 13 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an expert, authority in discipline.

Limited travel for company meetings and/or site visits.
Desired Skills:
• Background with sustainability focus areas including circular economy, waste/hazardous chemicals and materials reduction, and biodiversity.
• Familiarity with Lifecycle Analysis (LCA) applications.
• Experience with advancing sustainability efforts in complex businesses.
• Demonstrated partnering capabilities across a complex stakeholder landscape.
• Operating Excellence Green or Black Belt training/certification.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $123,500 - $232,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $107,400 - $205,900 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
