Lockheed Martin Corporation is seeking a Contract intern that will have a unique position of supporting the most cutting-edge technologies under the Advance Program (AP) line of business to include in Special Programs (SP) – Dallas, Applied Research (AR) - Dallas, Tactical Missiles Advanced Programs (TMAP)-Dallas, and Integrated Air Missile Defense Advance Programs (IAMD-AP) - Dallas, Precision Fires (PF)-Dallas, Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD)-Dallas, PATRIOT Advanced Capability–3 (PAC-3)- Dallas.

You will have an opportunity to be involved in supporting proposal preparation support, negotiations, contract administration, and contract closeout; Supporting reviews and evaluates customer requests for proposal/information or revisions to contracts; Supporting developing and reviewing briefing packages, fact finding and negotiation; Exposure to risk assessments and approaches to mitigate risks, including alternative contractual language/clauses; Support investigations and reconciles significant contract changes involving cost, specifications, schedules, etc. and supporting the advising of management of contractual rights and responsibilities.

Basic Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program pursuing a degree in Business Administration (e.g. Finance, Accounting, Management, etc.).
Desired Skills:
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Developing and continuing to increase business acumen
- Knowledge of basic financial concepts
- Excellent writing and presentation skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
