TKO provide systems engineering, software development, data science and cloud development and engineering services to the Cyber Infrastructure Solutions customer. The services enable the Data Transformation, Malware Analysis, and Cyber Threat Intelligence processing and sharing capabilities for the customer, fulfilling mission objectives and offering actionable information to detect and mitigate cyber threats. The contract has several locations in Maryland and a small contingent in Texas.
TKO is seeking a Data Scientist with analytic development skills to support a highly visible cyber intelligence program. The candidate will work with a team to analyze and characterize large data sets, create data visualizations, and identify anomalous/interesting behavior. They will also develop machine learning analytics using AI algorithms. The successful candidate will have experience with analysis in the cyber domain and discovery operations, and have experience with algorithm design and development in cloud environments using corporate enterprise services.
The successful candidate will:
• Produce data visualizations that provide insight into dataset structure and meaning
• Incorporate SME input into feature vectors suitable for analytic development and testing
•Translate customer qualitative analysis process and goals into quantitative formulations that are coded into software prototypes
• Develop and implement statistical, machine learning, and heuristic techniques to create descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics
• Develop statistical tests to make data-driven recommendations and decisions
• Develop experiments to collect data or models to simulate data when required data are unavailable
• Develop feature vectors for input into machine learning algorithms
• Identify the most appropriate algorithm for a given dataset and tune input and model parameters
• Evaluate and validate the performance of analytics using standard techniques and metrics
Basic Qualifications:
Degree from an accredited college or university in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, mathematics, operations research, engineering or computer science) is required.
B.S. degree + 7 years of experience. Experience must include analyzing datasets and developing analytics. Experience must also include programming with data analysis software such as R, Python, SAS, or MATLAB.

M.S. degree + 5 years of experience. Experience must include analyzing datasets and developing analytics. Experience must also include programming with data analysis software such as R, Python, SAS, or MATLAB.
OR
PhD + 2 years of experience. Experience must include analyzing datasets and developing analytics. Experience must also include programming with data analysis software such as R, Python, SAS, or MATLAB.
Required Skills:

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
