Job Description:

One (1) position will be filled at the following duty locations:
Queens, NY or Burlington, MA or Nashua, NH or College Park, GA.

Incumbent serves as a technical coordinator for assigned F&E installation or construction center.

Duties

Incumbent applies broad experience and comprehensive technical knowledge of electronics equipment installation to coordinate project activities related to installation/construction. Provide project installation/construction expertise in the preparation of the Centers Work Plan. Plan, schedule, identify, required resources and coordinate execution of the installation/construction activities of the documents for constructibility concerns. Coordinate installation/construction field changes with appropriate affected parties and stakeholders. Ensure installation/construction activity related project schedule changes are reflected in CWP/Primavera. Ensure field installation/construction reports are accurate, contain an appropriate level of detail and are timely.

Coordinates with ESA Engineering Services Management to provide FAA travel policy guidance to Center field personnel, and review travel vouchers of Center field personnel for accuracy, proper documentation and accounting classification. Recommend training plans for Center field personnel to increase their job skills, knowledge and effectiveness. Maintain locater sheet of Center field personnel.
Provide training, mentoring and guidance and advice to Center field (installation/construction) personnel on technical and administrative issues. Provide positive quality assurance controls during installation/construction activities, including minimizing JAI exceptions and tracking JAI exceptions clearance.

Act as Center focal point for OSHA construction safety. Ensure that all facility work permits and risk assessments are properly completed when required. Monitor Centers common stock material levels and reorder as required. Ensure required parts/materials are ordered/shipped on schedule. Maintain current FRD data sheets on all project specific equipment/systems. Prepare "end of project critiques" to analyze actual performance vs projected performance. (e.g. schedule, budget, quality, manpower etc).

Receives general program assignments from a supervisor or higher level manager. Assignments are stated in terms of priorities, overall objectives, and boundaries. Completed assignments are considered technically authoritative and are reviewed only for general compliance with organizational objectives. Identifies resources needed to perform assignments. Organizes and assigns resources needed to accomplish large work activities within established schedules.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to Pay Band H/Level III. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.

Specialized experience may include but is not limited to: Candidates must show experience at the level of difficulty and responsibility appropriate to the position. Experience providing technical advise or direction to field personnel; scheduling projects based on priorities and available field resources.

Salary Range: $75,305 - $116,712
