Fabricator (2nd Shift)We are seeking a Fabricator (2nd Shift) to support the production and assembly of fire sprinkler systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves operating machinery, cutting and preparing pipe, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. This is a non-welding position with the opportunity to grow into a welding role over time.

Position SummaryThe Fabricator is responsible for supporting the production of fire sprinkler systems by cutting, assembling, and preparing pipe for distribution. This role includes operating machinery, performing quality checks, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Work is performed in a non-climate-controlled shop that can become hot. The team is highly collaborative and values strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
QualificationsKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesAbility to read and understand work instructions and procedures
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Basic math skills (measurements, calculations, quantities)
Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure
Experience using gauges for quality checks
Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with machinery
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Results-driven in a fast-paced production environment
Basic computer skills for automated machinery
Strong attention to detail and safety practices
Education & ExperienceMust-Have Experience With:
Band saws
Pipe threading machines (Landis)
Roll groove machines
Plasma cutting equipment
Automatic welding machines
Pneumatic banding equipment
Preferred Experience:
Minimum Qualifications
Work Environment & Physical RequirementsNon-climate-controlled shop (can be hot)
Ability to lift and move pipe ranging from ½” to 10”
Standing, walking, and manual labor for extended periods
Use of machinery, tools, and industrial equipment
Required to wear appropriate PPE (including safety shoes)
ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesMove loose or bundled pipe throughout the shop and yard
Assemble pipe orders (single pieces or bundles)
Measure, cut, and prepare pipe using band saws or torches
Thread and bevel pipe using Landis machines
Set up, operate, and maintain fabrication machinery
Measure, record, and verify pipe lengths accurately
Perform quality checks using gauges and measuring tools
Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Operate powered industrial equipment as required
Inspect and maintain forklift equipment
Assist with shipping, stacking, and staging of materials
Cross-train across multiple areas of the shop
Support team operations and special projects as needed

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
