Description:Perform all facility HVAC operations and support functions including brazing/soldering, electronic and pneumatic control calibration, control wiring installation and preventive / predictive maintenance. Maintain accurate computerized documentation and data collection equipment. Operate and maintain the building management system and related equipment as required. Clean, maintain and troubleshoot large capacity building HVAC systems including roof top equipment, air handlers, exhaust fans, fan coil units, and DX coil units, chiller, cooling towers, boilers, and other HVAC related equipment. Be proficient in the assembly, fabrication, and insulation of duck work. Experience in working on and operating steam/hydronic boiler
Basic Qualifications:
* Candidate must obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
* Minimum of four years Commercial / Industrial experience as an HVAC technician
* Hold a current 608 Universal Certification working in a commercial environment.
* Have and maintain a valid diver license
* Ability to read and work from electrical and mechanical drawings
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
* Ability to work from a variety of aerial lift platforms including ladders
* Candidate must be able to lift 30 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
* Candidate must be able to use hand and power tools including the proficient uses of torches and refrigeration gauges
* Candidate must be able to operate single person scissor lift
* A physical job that requires the individual to use ladders and to be able to lift and walk etc. for extended periods of time. Utilize proper personal protective equipment in the performance of duties.
Desired Skills:
* 2 years HVAC trade school or equivalent certification.
* High school degree or equivalency
Experience operating and programming a building management system
* Strong communication skills
* Equipment LOTO education
* Steam boiler operation and maintenance
* Environmental Chamber operation and maintenance
* Must possess basic computer skills
* Must work well with others, as well as by yourself
* Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain any required certification
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
The base range for this position in New York is $33.46 - $36.37.
