Description:Become a part of something meaningful! Ground Missile Defense (GMD) is the heart of the Missile Defense System and a key element of our nation’s defense against ballistic missile attacks.

The GMD Weapon System processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat.

This individual will be responsible for working with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop new learning products for multiple engineering disciplines, evaluating and improving existing learning products, collaborating with multiple teams to identify current and future training/knowledge/skill gaps, and administering learning management systems.

Basic Qualifications:
- Experience conducting a Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify and develop appropriate learning solutions.
- Experience designing and developing learning products for multiple modalities, including online, in-person, and hybrid, as well as synchronous and asynchronous formats.
- Experience analyzing learning metrics to evaluate instructional effectiveness and improvement opportunities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, utilize subject matter experts, team members, and established processes to create and sustain training materials under minimal supervision.
- Experience developing maintenance training curriculum using ADDIE.
- Graduate of the Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC), Navy
Instructor Training Course (NITC) or equivalent.
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM discipline, Instructional Systems Design, Adult Learning Studies, Education, or related field.
- 5 years’ relevant work experience with an Associate’s degree, 3 with a Bachelor’s, 0 with a Master’s, or 7 years’ experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with using Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Education Suite, Learning Management Systems, or other related software suites.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills as well as oral and written communication skills are required for the position.
- Experience developing learning materials for technical disciplines.
- Experience applying adult learning theories and instructional design principles.
- Curriculum design experience.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
