General Maintenance Worker
Virginia Beach, VA
Contract Position
$21.06-$26.06/Hour
Support special operations forces by contributing to logistics and ground support systems that ensure the readiness and effectiveness of elite units. This role provides the chance to support high-priority missions, offering insights into the logistics and sustainment of critical defense operations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance tasks across multiple trades, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work.
- Replace electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors.
- Patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings using plaster or compound.
- Repair or replace sinks, water coolers, toilets, and similar fixtures.
- Paint structures and equipment, repair or replace concrete floors, steps, sidewalks, and damaged paneling or floor tiles.
- Hang doors, install door locks, and replace broken window panes.
- Perform general maintenance on machinery and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required.
- Practical knowledge and skills in a variety of trades (painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work).
