Description of duties
Assists with time calculations for conversion into payroll for TIMET employees. Assists with personnel scheduling. Produce various reports as needed.
- Assists with adjustment check requests and coordinate the process with Payroll personnel.
- Supply information for employee employment verifications to internal and external customers.
- Trains in other HR roles to gain sufficient knowledge to perform in backup capacity.
- Participates in other Human Resources initiatives as required to develop additional skills in HR practices.
- Additional Clerical support to Human Resources Department as required.
- Prepare wage verification.
- Maintains employee files organized.
- Participates in the recruitment process for hourly and salaried roles.
Education & Experience
Enrolled in a 4-year Business Administration and Management, Human Resources, Retail & Hospitality, Psychology program.
- Must be able to commit to 6 months or the duration of the summer a Fall extension is available. OR if Part-time desired must commit to 11 months Co-Op.
- Must be able to reliably commute or relocate.
- Ability to lift objects up to 35 pounds if needed.
- Must be able to think quickly and act.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, and Access)
- Strong writing skills and interpersonal skills
- Critical problem analysis, decision making and analytical abilities.
