Responsibilities of Position:
- Perform maintenance on and troubleshoots high voltage switchgear.
- Repair and calibrates controllers, recorders, and indicators.Repairs all types of control valves, positioners, transducers, and any other parts necessary to the operation of the plants.
- Remove, repair, calibrate, and reinstall all types of sensing elements for flow, temperature, and pressure measurement.
- Perform loop checks & other capitol project support when needed
- Troubleshoot and repair or install control wiring.
- Install new or modifies various parts of control loops as required.
- Read and understand manuals, schematics, and P&IDs
- Perform maintenance and repairs on wide range of instrumentation including pH, pressure, differential pressure, micromotion, magflow, vortex, and conductivity instruments.
- Participate in continuous improvement events and routinely participate in 5S activities.
- Actively participate in Tier 1 meeting.
- Perform all other work as assigned.
Key SuccessFactors:
- Must be able to become integrated into the I&E Department and be a fully participating member of the Maintenance Team.
- Must demonstrate ability to troubleshoot and analyze causes of equipment failures and recommend solutions to problems.
- Must be able to work with other plant functions, including mechanical maintenance, reliability, and operations.
--Starting Pay: 44.60/hour--
MUST HAVE:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum I&E training / certification. Four year technology degree preferred.
- 3 - 5 years of I&E experience in chemical plant environment
- Experience with analogue & digital instrumentation
- Electrical background including troubleshooting low and high voltage circuits, power system knowledge, breaker panels, transformers, VFDs, switch gear, etc... required
- Instrumentation background including troubleshooting and servicing transmitters, control valves, radar, optical, etcu2026 required.
