Description:The International Subsidiary Governance and Compliance Professional will implement Lockheed Martin’s international subsidiary governance and compliance program within the Corporate Secretary’s Office (CSO) to ensure that Lockheed Martin’s international subsidiaries remain compliant with applicable laws and regulations and support business pursuits. This individual will support the International Subsidiary Governance and Compliance Professional as directed by the Subsidiary Governance Senior Manager.

Ensure Legal & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure each Lockheed Martin international subsidiary is compliant with local laws and regulations and manage governance framework for Lockheed Martin international subsidiaries; and implement team strategy for compliance.
- Support entity formation, dissolution, registration, and director and officer changes in a timely, efficient, and compliant manner
- Utilize third party vendors in a cost-effective and efficient manner to support compliance objectives
- Draft, review, and manage the execution of resolutions, certificates, correspondence, statutory reports, secretary’s certificates, and other corporate documents under attorney supervision; solicit team member support for same
- Collaborate and share information effectively with internal partners and stakeholders to include business area program personnel, internal functional groups and other parties involved in a matter
- Prepare information relating to international subsidiaries for incorporation into parent company filings, including financial information and audit responses
- Support bid and proposal efforts related to international jurisdictions to include bidder/supplier registrations, import/export registrations and certain pre-qualification certifications
- Support accounting, tax and treasury activities in international jurisdictions

Manage Workload and Improve Process Efficiency
- Independently manage workload and prioritize tasks through support from team members and vendors, ensuring consistent operational efficiency
- Leverage vendors to ensure maximum efficiency in workflow and effective use of vendor fees
- Monitor systems, refine and develop workflow processes and procedures, and document retention policies to ensure entity compliance (to include docketing / calendaring of compliance requirements and tools to enable real-time understanding of entity compliance postures, electronic recordkeeping where permitted by law/regulation, etc.)
- Suggest improvements to processes and procedures to facilitate efficient delivery of compliance and business support services
- Apply legal records management best practices

Customer Service Orientation
- Respond timely to internal customer requests for business support, including provision of official documents, special delegations of authority/powers of attorney, entity information sheets, etc.
- Support the development and update of training and onboarding procedures for entity directors, officers, branch managers, and other internal stakeholders
- Cultivate strong working relationships with corporate functional and business area teams that impact subsidiary governance, including accounting, corporate development, global business development and strategy, human resources, tax, treasury, properties, and others
- Employ a growth mindset and continuous learning orientation and accept constructive developmental guidance
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of directly related experience, preferably with subsidiary management, regulatory compliance, or international contracts/subcontracts experience.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
