The successful incumbent will be part of the Inflight Planning Department in Customer Experience Division supporting supporting the optimisation of aircraft galley layouts and inflight equipment planning to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations. The role drives operational readiness through effective inventory management, validations, and cross-functional coordination, while leveraging digital tools and Gen AI to enhance processes, data insights, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and optimise aircraft galley layouts and equipment loading using the Galley Planning 4 Equipment Loading Plan (GP4 ELP) system.
• Allocate galley and storage space, assess new service requirements, and coordinate with Food & Beverafe team on equipment needs and menu support.
• Conduct operational validations, including flight checks and equipment fit assessments, to ensure practicality, safety, and compliance.
• Review and refine ELPs with Cabin Crew to improve service flow, uplift efficiency, and onboard operations.
• Manage and monitor inflight equipment inventory to ensure accuracy, availability, and alignment with operational requirements.
• Support system enhancements and digital initiatives, including GP4 User Acceptance Testing and Gen AI-driven process improvements.
• Analyse operational data (e.g. Cabin Crew Voyage Report, feedback) to identify gaps, support investigations, and drive continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve operational issues and ensure smooth implementation of initiatives.
Requirements
• Diploma in Mechanical / Aviation Engineering/ Data Engineering, or related fields.
• Fresh Diploma Graduates, Individuals with cabin crew experience are welcome.
• Keen interest in airline operations, inflight service, and inventory planning.
• Strong communication and coordination skills across multiple stakeholders
• IT-savvy with interest in digital tools, automation, and emerging technologies (e.g. Gen AI).
• Comfortable working with data and analytical tools (e.g. Tableau).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
