Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Summer 2024 Manufacturing Operations Intern. In this role, you will work with Operations on specific assignments related to affordability and production related project management.
In close coordination with Operations leadership and support teams, the intern will support tracking of cost reduction initiatives, database management, and planning for the implementation of pipeline ideas. Interns will gain exposure into Operations across Final Assembly and Flight Operations, assisting with solving problems and incorporating those solutions into implementation plans.
Basic Qualifications:
- Quality, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related fields
- Strong Organization skills including attention to details
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including proficiency in Excel and Power Point
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills couples with being a team player.
Desired Skills:
- Minimum 3.0 GPA Desired but Not Required
- Comprehension of analytical tools, workflow time studies, and project management
- Experience with databases, data mining, and data analytics

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
