What You Will Be Doing

• Supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment.

• Performs activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control; total quality management; systems; manufacturing; equipment and facilities engineering; material management; and process reengineering.

• Facilitates self-directed work teams; provides training in core skill areas to teams and peers; and interacts with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement.

• Generally experienced in one or more areas of manufacturing operations.

Basic Qualifications:
• Aircraft maintenance &/or manufacturing experience.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

• Experience working cross-functionally with both internal teams and external customer teams.
Desired Skills:
• 5 yrs experience relating to aircraft manufacturing, assembly or modifications.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or production operations.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical details.
• Strong time management and multi-tasking skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
• Proven ability to build positive relationships with internal and external customers and teams.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
