POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for translating customer requirements into WGFH metallurgical process instructions and maintaining the requirement in MSQS Database and writing final reports. The documentation produced by this position ensures that product is produced, tested, inspected and certified in accordance with customer requirements.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Review customer requirements (customer purchase orders, drawings, specifications) and translate into internal metallurgical instructions (such as heat treat instruction and testing instruction).
• Prepare Metallurgical Test Requirements in MSQS Oracle based Database.
• Administer of Oracle cut up database
• Create cut up reports in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Participate in failure investigation and process improvement; collecting and analyzing data trend and write reports

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
• Computer literacy required
• Ability to interpret blueprints and customer specification required.
• Minitab; JMP or similar SPC analysis experience desirable.
• Knowledge of Turbine Engine Metallurgical Testing desirable.
• Experience in Oracle MSQS Database and Oracle ERP Database is desirable.
• Position requires a highly organized, accurate and detail-oriented individual.
• College or Technical Degree desirable.

EXPERIENCE: Metallurgical Testing; Oracle database; blue print and specification review.

WORK CONDITIONS: Office environment with some interaction with the manufacture shop and testing lab

TRAVEL: Not required
