Boeing is looking for a Mid-level Programmer Analyst to join their team in Seal Beach, CA or Plano, TX.
The selected candidate will be part of the airline Customer Support development team supporting BCS (Boeing Communication System).
Position Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, tests, implements, documents, and maintains computing applications
- Gathers and evaluates end user requirements
- Constructs database objects based on documented design
- Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality
- Identifies and resolves programming or application architecture problems
- Reviews system performance and identifies and recommends improvements
- Develops and Maintains Oracle Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions/Database Views and SQLs Tuning
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- 1&43; Years of experience with creating and maintaining Oracle Databases
- 1&43; Years of experience with Oracle software development SQL and PL/SQL
- 1&43; Years of experience with ETL Tool(s) Oracle SQL, Java, JBoss Fuse
Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Skills/Experience)
- Experience with Oracle Database Design
- Experience with Data Manipulation in Oracle Database
- Experience with Cognos Framework Manager and Report
- Experience with Splunk and OpenShift development
Typical Education/Experience:
Typically, 5 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Summary Pay Range: $93,500 - $135,700
