What your day to day will look like?

  • Have a positive team aptitude while interacting within the maintenance group,internal customers, engineering groups, management, suppliers & contractors.  

  • Working independently or team member to perform general mechanical tasks using documented/communicated instruction, drawings, manuals, &/or computer systems.

  • Competent & capable of using trade related general hand & power tools/equipment. 

  • Capable of performing installation, service, repair, and overhaul of plant equipment such as compressors, test skids, pumps, pneumatic & hydraulic components/systems.

  • Proficient fabricator, rigger, pipefitter, welder. (i.e.: Mig, Tig, Arc, Oxyacetylene)

  • Possess proficient trouble shooting techniques to identify/resolve mechanical issues.

  • Able to perform standard preventative maintenance on facility equipment/systems by performing visual inspections, identifying & correcting potential functional issues, removing/replacing worn out components/parts, & performing general lubrications.

  • Prior knowledge/training in regard to: LOTO, CSE, working at heights, PIV operation.

  • Experience with high pressure centrifugal or screw compressors would be an asset.

  • Be able to work various shifts independently. (6 AM. - 2:30 PM., 2:30 PM. - 12 AM.)

  • Be available for rotational schedule weekend on-call with other team members.

What you need to be successful?

  • Licensed millwright (Industrial Mechanic) or equivalent.

  • Red seal certification, college &/or trade school diploma.

  • Mechanical technician/technologist or equivalent.

  • Self-motivated, flexible, adaptable & dynamic applicant.
