Multi Crew Cooperation (MCC) Instructor

• Complete training in a timely manner including but not limited to
  
  • Training outlined in OM-D Flying Training for type assigned.
  • Simulator workshops as outlined in OM-D Flying Training.
  • Learning Hub modules.
  • Cathay procedures and processes.
  • Fleet specific training materials.
• Observe and teach under the supervision of an appropriately qualified person as assigned by the STM.
• Undertake other tasks such as projects, office duties and workshops as assigned.
• Ensure that they work to meet Cathay standard of training.
• Abide by the guidelines laid out in OMD, PPM, Simulator Instructor Administrative Handbook and other company procedural documents.
• Preserve the confidentiality of privileged information.
• Deliver MCC training to Cathay cadets and direct entry pilots.
  
  

Knowledge

• Have knowledge commensurate with the provision of airline level training.
  
  

Skills

• Able to demonstrate suitable flying skills during simulator assessment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to instruct and relay information clearly.
• Proven leadership skills and an ability to mentor others.
• Strong decision-making skills under high pressure and ability to impart this skill to others.
  
  

Experience

• Hold or previously held an ICAO CPL/ATPL or equivalent experience.
• Have completed at least 1,500 hours of flying experience as a pilot in multi-pilot aircraft operations.
• Experience as a Flight Instructor will be an advantage.
