What we’re looking for
Ø Proactively manage a fleet of aircraft to minimise delays and disruption
Ø Liaise with Crewing, Customer, and Maintenance teams to deliver safe and efficient operations
Ø Apply and manage ad-hoc runway slots to maintain compliance and reduce fines
Ø Monitor weather and develop mitigating plans where necessary
Ø Maintain communication with flight crew via ACARS and disseminate critical information to stakeholders
Ø Ensure operational integrity and take steps to mitigate disruption to the flying programme
Ø Optimise the use of standby aircraft and crew to gain best value
Ø Work closely with Senior Operations Officers and Network Duty Manager during disruption
Ø Maintain vital communication lines with internal and external agencies and service providers
Ø Oversee and manage easyJet’s runway slot protocols and curfew compliance
Ø Record and collate operational event information accurately
Ø Fulfil duties required during emergency situations (exercise or actual)
Ø Complete all tasks to the highest professional standards and carry out additional duties as directed
Key skills and experience
Ø At least two years’ experience within an airline operations department
Ø FAA Dispatch Licence or equivalent (desirable)
Ø Extensive knowledge of TOPS and AIMS systems (desirable)
Ø Working knowledge of EASA FTL (desirable)
Ø Ability to work to strict deadlines and deliver results under pressure
Ø Strong knowledge of airline meteorology and geographical awareness
Ø Sound understanding of the easyJet Operations Manual (OM/A)
Ø Excellent planning, organisation, and problem-solving skills
Ø Customer-focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ø Team player, adaptable and flexible to respond to changing demands and timescales
Ø Comfortable working 12-hour shifts
Ø High competency with PCs and Microsoft Office suite

Practicalities
This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be an average of fourteen shifts per 28 days, with 12-hour shifts, typically from 6.30am to 6.30pm.
