Collins Aerospace is looking for an PC Support Technician based out of the PDX Airport in Portland, Oregon. You will assist in providing basic technical support for computers, peripherals, and associated networks. You will be performing these duties in a face to face customer environment. You will perform shift work in a 24x7x365 environment.

What You Will Do

  • Assist in repairing, installing, and maintaining personal computers.
  • Assist with troubleshooting of the system hardware, desktop support, and printer set up.
  • Assist with in network connectivity/cabling and networking hardware such as routers and switches
  • Maintain regular progress communication with the Airport Authority and take any remedial action for deficiencies.
  • Ensures support activities are coordinated with the customer and management.
  • Must be able to pass and maintain Port of Portland security background checks.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position
  • Experience working in a customer service/support IT environment

Qualifications We Prefer

  • One year of experience as a field service technician in a technical support capacity.
  • Experience supporting various hardware and peripheral components in an on-site environment
  • Experience in network connectivity/cabling and networking

The salary range for this role is 36,000 USD - 72,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
