Business Platform Integral Planning & Control enables a multi-disciplinary team of teams to create our flight schedule, from inception to Day of Operation and beyond. Learning from past performance, we build the complex calculations engines and tools required to balance commercial aspects and operational robustness. On the Day of Operation, we solve todays disruptions before they become tomorrows problems.

Where do you land?

The Platform Architect captures the architectural tasks and responsibilities that are covered in the business platform. The Platform Architect constructs the platform target architecture roadmap (themes and epics), maintains overview of technical capabilities across the platform, supports teams in designing the architecture of products and identifies relevant technologies for platform development or architectural simplification. The Platform Architect adapts and implements the enterprise architecture principles in the platform architecture and contributes to changes in the enterprise architecture principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Innovation and Leadership: Develop, maintain and execute the architecture roadmap for Business Platform Integral Planning & Control, aligned with KLM’s ambition of leveraging technological advancements to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Ensuring the architecture complies with enterprise-wide principles and target architecture.

Collaboration and Integration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to integrate innovative, highly performant solutions that simplify and optimize our IT landscape. Defining integration patterns aligned with the broader Air France KLM application landscape.

Sustainable Practices: Incorporate sustainable technologies and practices into the platform architecture, supporting KLMs commitment to environmental responsibility.
