Polisher

In this role you will polish and protect parts in preparation for plating.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

• Work from blueprints, CATIA models, company standards, and work instructions.
• Work in a safe manner in accordance with OSHA and company safety procedures.
• Ability to polish parts to produce a cosmetically acceptable part for our customers.
• Sets up and operates standard shop equipment.
• Conceives and manufactures shop aid tools improve repetitiveness and cost.
• Accurately log computerized labor data collection for time and attendance tracking.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a plating/polishing environment.
• Able to work from blueprints, sketches or diagrams.
• Able to set up and operate all standard shop equipment.
• Able to lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must not be allergic to aluminum dust or buffing compounds.
• Able to stand approximately 8 hours a day and buff parts on a buffing machine.
• Able to work well with other team members.
