Northrop Grumman Technical Services is seeking a Principal Military Trainer Sustainment Analyst eager to constructively influence the future of U. S. Army simulation-driven training; lead, train, challenge, and mentor and oversee all facets of training for Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) simulation command post exercises to train Division and Corps Commanders and their staffs during Warfighter and Mission Rehearsal exercises at Fort Leavenworth, KS. Candidate should have recent experience with both Army and Military Sustainment Headquarters
Duty Description:
- Collect and manage data pertaining to military warfighting function (WfF) (Army-Sustainment) procedures, decisions, and orders during computer assisted military training exercises for Army Brigades, Divisions, Corps, and Army Service Component Commands.
- Works closely with military WfF Observer Controllers/Trainers (OC/Ts); collects simulation generated data, observer Controller/ Trainer observations, analyzes data, and prepares visual products for After Action Reviews in coordination with military WfF counterparts.
- Develops and produces graphic products for After Action Reviews, Mission Command Training (MCT) Workshops, In-Progress Reviews, and briefings. When required, he/ she assists in exercise planning, scenario development, weekly pre-exercise planning meetings, site surveys, and exercise planning conferences.
- Develops exercise plans, coordinates internal and external resources, monitors planning progress and timelines, and prepares contract deliverables items.
- Maintain proficiency in the various simulations and models and AAR systems supporting Army training exercises.
Basic Qualifications:
- One of the following:
- High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 9 years of professional and/or military leadership experience
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of professional and/or military leadership experience
- Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of professional and/or military leadership experience
- Minimum Military Education Level (MEL) 4 CGSC or Warrant Officer or SGM’s equivalent
- Must be able to work on-site at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas
- Must have an active or be able to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
- Familiar with current Army Sustainment/Joint doctrine.
- Highly proficient with MS Office suite of software (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Graduate degree.
• Division, Corps, Army Service Component command, or Theater Sustainment Command staff officer experience.
• Previous experience in computer assisted simulation training.
• Prior experience as an Observer Coach/Trainer at an Army Combat Training Center (CTC).
Salary Range: $71,600 - $107,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
