The Raytheon Industry 4.0 team is seeking an experienced Product Owner. The Product Owner will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of software products that align with the organizations strategic goals. The candidate will be responsible for bridging the gap between the products vision and its execution by creating a detailed backlog of user stories, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define features, and ensure successful product delivery. This role will be a critical technical liaison between the 3 manufacturing sectors. The ideal candidate should possess experience in seamlessly integrating solutions across various sites.

What You Will Do

• Develop a concept of operations on how the product should function and define specific product features​
• Product backlog management: create Product definition​s, features and capabilities based on customer requirements, define the product backlog and create actionable user stories for the development teams​
• Design products with a focus on cost-effectiveness and rapid time-to-market across different sectors
• Product delivery: Participate in sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives and act as the voice of the customer within the development team
• Develop product launch plans and marketing strategies
• Monitor product adoption and usage metrics
• Gather customer feedback and usage metrics and monitor product’s performance KPIs
• Responsible for Product’s documentation
• Expected to Travel 25 of the time.

What You Will Learn

• Advanced skills in prioritizing tasks and features based on business value and strategic objectives
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, executives, and development teams
• Ability to analyze product data to identify trends, measure performance, and make data-driven decisions.

Qualifications You Must Have  

• Typically requires a bachelors in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred)
• 10+ years relevant professional experience, with at least 4 years of experience with Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory technologies
• Experience in bridging the gap between a products vision and its successful delivery across multiple businesses while working with cross-functional teams.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with transition to production of software products
• Continuous improvement/growth, quality and analytical mindset
• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role
• Expertise in Agile methodologies with experience in developing features, stories and backlog management (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• Experience with Product management tools (Jira, DevOps, etc.)
• Experience with software development lifecycle and software development methodologies
• Knowledge of user experience *UX) and user interface (UI) design principles
• Experience with data analysis and reporting
• Certification in Agile methodologies (Certified Scrum Product Owner)

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
