Job Description:

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Project Coach (classic & agile) & Portfolio performance manager (f/m) to join our IM Governance Office based in Marignane, France.

You will be part of the &34;IM Governance Office&34; department that bundles a set of transverse services and activities which serve primarily the Information Management community and the CIO; but also the business colleagues.

These services and activities revolve around 3 axes: one is aimed to standardize and facilitate IM activities and processes; the second is focused on quality assurance of IM activities; and the third on educational and support services.

 It is within this department that a new challenging opportunity has been created. 

The role of the Project Coach and Portfolio performance manager is to be active on the Quality and Coaching axis within the Projects Portfolio realm.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the quality of active projects (PMI, SCRUM) and iterative initiatives (Scrum of Scrum, SAFE) through the defined methodologies in place. And as an improvement axis, perform active coaching of project leaders and scrum masters to support applying PMI / SCRUM methodologies in a pragmatic way (based on real live experiences).

This will require working not only with Information Management colleagues but also interact with the business actors on these projects.

Together with the other team members, the candidate will define and propose improvements to the quality assurance processes and provide analysis on weaknesses of specific projects.

The candidate will also support the team and the department head with reporting and collaborate with the team to support the creation and animation of the project / iterative communities.

• Help teams to identify the correct framework matching their context (Waterfall, SAFe, Scrum, Kanban)

• Autonomously lead the projects quality reviews ensuring the deliverables are aligned with the objectives and document the results for the audit trail

• Actively coach a selection of project leaders / scrum masters

• Support the IM project manager community with the usage of the portfolio tool

• Engage stakeholders in a governance that ensures effective use of time, budget and achievement of quality

• Integrate processes and people from other functions (matrix organizations)

• Participate to the IM project manager community, improve collaboratively the IM Governance toolkit (Projects Quality Gates, Agile Kick-Off and PI Metrics)

• Setting up processes aiming to share the IM Project management practices within Airbus Helicopters

• Supporting the use of the Portfolio and Project management tools implemented by IM (SAP PPM)

• Actively coach (selected) project managers

• Work in compliance with internal and external rules and regulations

• Reporting of KPIs

• Ensure effective continuous improvements of the applied processes

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Proven track record of the usage of project management / project methodologies experience (PMI, PMBOK or Prince2) and  Agile and Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe)

• Broad knowledge of ICT (IM) environments and components

• Convinced that quality is not target on itself but adding value

• Good grasp of project financials

• Excellent team player

• Excellent communication skills

• Meticulous, able to work in a complex business environment and able to manage stress;

• Interest and affinity for IT related topics

• Fluent in English and French, knowledge of German is a plus
