Description
  • Accomplish audits of Component Repair / Parts vendors, Maintenance providers, Fuel vendors, and Deicing vendors as required by the GMM and CASS program.
  •  Accomplish in-house audits of all maintenance/ training records, Maintenance Control, Technical Library, and other departments as required by Internal Audit schedule, using approved 21 Air audit forms.
  • Perform preliminary RC/RA on all Medium and High-risk findings.
  • Report Audit results to CASS Manager, and Director of Quality.
  • Ensure that audit responses are received by the Quality Department within the specified time limit.
  • Evaluate audit responses to determine acceptability.
  • Ensure all audit records are accurate and complete prior to filing.
  • Assist in the development of Corrective Action Plans (CAP’S).
  • Perform follow-up surveillance.
  • Notify the Manager, Technical Publications of manual requirements or changes at outside stations or vendors.
  • Reviews training and recent experience for additional authorizations, e.g. Airworthiness Release or RII authorizations.
  • Submits FAA required reports upon completion of paperwork inspection/review and determining maintenance accomplishments or service interruptions meet the requirements of FARs 121.703, 121.705 and 121.707.
  •  Maintains copies of all FAA required reports submitted under FARs 121.703, 121.705 and 121.707.
  •   Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed in other company manuals such as the Fueling and CASS Manuals.
  •  Performs additional duties assigned by the CASS Manager or Director, Quality.
Requirements
  • FAA certificate (Airframe, Powerplant, or both)
  •  Experience maintaining transport category aircraft preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years aviation experience with auditing background. 
  • Experience with the following FAA regulations, 14 CFR 43, 145 and 121.
  • Part 121 Operation experience preferred.
  • Understanding of ATA Spec 103 requirements.
  • Skill in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, using standard English.
  • Able to interface in a pleasant and professional manner with all departments, levels of management, and vendors.
  • Be able to analyze information and utilize problem solving and critical thinking skills to accomplish root cause analysis.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must have a valid passport with no travel restrictions.
  • U.S. Citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
  • Must have strong organizational skills to set and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Be able to work under adverse conditions in a production/aircraft maintenance environment.
  • Must be willing to work an irregular schedule when required.
  • Willing to travel.
