Job Description:

An opportunity for a Quality Line Side Support  has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, San Pablo (Sevilla).

RESPONSIBILITIES

The main tasks of the jobholder will be:

• - Ensure Quality of Product and Processes in Final Assembly line – Light Transport Aircraft (FAL –LTA), in the station under his/her responsability.
  - Quality management Delegation: Responsible for granting authorization for inspection to Operations when complying with requirements defined, being also responsible for ensuring the adequate use of this authorization.

  - Time management and team management for inspectors’ delegated, coordinating activities in line with planning and ensuring inspections and Software attestation are performed complying with Quality standards and with no impact in aircraft deliveries i.a.w Industrial Plan.
  - Quality supervision, control and attestation for activities performed by internal/external production in FAL, complying with quality standards.
  - Responsible for leading and driving aircraft status maturity in line with criterial defined for key milestones as Operational Gates to following station, roll out to Flight Line (FL), or Production Organization Approval/Design Organization Approval (POA/DOA) transfer.

  - Act as focal point for: Quality issues, mandatory inspections performed by Authorities besides internal audits to maintain process certifications’, external audits, local activities launched to prevent any Foreign Object (FO), any project launched to minimized non-quality cost, corrective actions launched to avoid any complain coming from internal or Final Costumer.
  - Implement and manage any Incoming inspection to ensure Quality standard in all MCAs handed over in FAL.

  - The jobholder is responsible for implementing the directives and requirements for granting the Quality Authorization to Operation staff through an action plan prepared by him/herself, assessing and validating the evidences (documents/procedures/work orders) provided to grant these authorization as well as managing and control the proper use of these Authorizations at the station under his/her responsibility at FAL for LTA.

  - Leading and driving Quality standards and continuous improvements through him/her expertise, boosting preventive quality mind-set in him/her inspectors team delegated as well as within the rest of organizations working in the station under his/her responsibility.

  - The jobholder will deliver the aircraft on Quality, on Time and on Cost, to next station in FAL, roll out to Flight Line or to Design Organization Approval (DOA), by means of leading the Quality Gate, complying with Quality standards, achieving Financial Objectives defined by top management and in line with Industrial Planning defined by Programs.

  - The jobholder will deliver Authorizations for inspection to Operations complying with Quality standard defined, ensuring these Authorizations are granted on time to avoid any impact in work order closure and aircraft delivery.

•  Educated in an Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
   At least 3 years of experience in Quality/Production/Eng.
   Knowledge in Configuration Management, Monitor Conformity & Attestation status, Project Management is appreciated.
   Knowledge in Aerostructures Quality is appreciated.
   The appropriate candidate must have good knowledge in Production/Quality Standards as well good command in the processes and procedure used in FAL LTA.
   As part of an mature MFT, the appropriate candidate must be a good team player, with good communication skills gained through the experience, self-confident and hardworking person, good sense of organization and responsibility and also analytical thinker.
