PURPOSE

This position is responsible for participating in the customer directed First Article Inspection process. This position is also responsible for managing our document control process using the company provided systems.

INPUTS AND OUTPUTS:

  • Lead the document control process:
  • Assist in the FAI process:
  • Other tasks as assigned by their manager.

REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Two (2) year Associate’s degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work with individuals from multiple disciplines.
  • 3-5 years working in a quality assurance technician role including:
  • Inspection with measurement instruments
  • Understand and interpret drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with GD&T and interpreting CMM results.
  • Understand AS9102 requirements.
  • Ability to read and understand customer specifications.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • AS9100 Internal Auditing
  • PPAP experience

SPECIAL SKILLS:

  • Good interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • good time management skills
  • ability to use computer systems, including learning ERP system and customer systems
  • proficient in MS, Excel, PPT, and adobe acrobat
